Amme O'Grady
Executive Director
With more than 18 years of experience in communications, community engagement, and organizational development, Amme O'Grady knows that strong relationships are the foundation of thriving communities.
A Parker County resident since 2011, Amme and her family chose Weatherford because they were looking for a community where they could become involved and make a difference.
Her career spans nonprofit leadership, education, corporate communications, and economic development. As co-founder of Martin Musicals, she built lasting relationships with local families while creating opportunities for youth through the performing arts. She later served with Weatherford ISD before joining Lockheed Martin and earning her master's degree in Communication Studies from Tarleton State University.
Most recently, she served as the Director of Communications & Development for the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce, where she focused on brand visibility, community engagement, and fundraising efforts.
Today, Amme remains deeply committed to serving Parker County through volunteer leadership, business development, and community partnerships.
As Executive Director, she works closely with business owners, volunteers, community leaders, and residents to bring people together around a shared vision for Downtown Weatherford.
